       Compliance to China-RoHS (ACPEIP)
On February 28, 2006 the Administration on the Control of Pollution caused by Eletronic Information Products (ACPEIP) was passed. The ACPEIP regulates the use of the same six materials in electronic components and assemblies, that are handled in the European Union RoHS 2002/95/EC: Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE). This Control Record applies to all products manufactured in China and for all products which are imported to China. Since the 1st of March, 2007 the listed products of the EIP (Electronic Information Product)-Catalogue regarding the above mentioned substances must be indicated. But only on products which are affected to end consumer. With all the products which will be processed the manufacturer must provide all needed information about their products to clients. Another labelling is currently not neccesary. Of Course, SUMIDA Components will provide all needed information to our customers for the deliveries to and from China.
